Somethings strange

Bought a Justice gift card for $150
Spent $20 on it and went back to buy my daughters summer clothes and the balance was $0. All they did was refund me the $80 out of $100 I spent on the GC. I lost what I thought I bought on discount and was embarrassed at the store.
I asked raise where my balance went and they said they cant access that information.
Humm, lie. They seem to know my balance just fine.
